Every day you can enjoy the view of the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber via webcam. The webcam shows directly on market square. On the right-hand side you will see a part of the imposing town hall. You can also see the Herterich – Fountain and behind it a magnificent half-timbered building, the so called “Tanz- und Fleischhaus”.

You can also catch a glimpse of another half-timbered house, today’s Marienapotheke, and into Herrngasse. On the left side down the Schmiedgasse, you can still see the famous Plönlein in the webcam.

The market square is a popular and lively meeting place for young and old at any time of the year. The Spring Market, concerts of the Ambassadors of Music throughout the summer and in December the Christmas Market are just a few of the events you can see on the webcam.
